Private George Anderson, A002388, was born and died in Augusta County, Virginia (1765–June 29, 1814).
He served for six months in 1781 in the Virginia Militia under Colonel George Moffett, and he was wounded in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse.
After the war he married Mary Breden in 1789 and they had 11 children: Elizabeth, Martha (Patsy), John, Andrew, Alexander, Mary, William, Rebecca, Sarah, Edward Breedon and Ann.
The Flick family donated this tree in honor of Mary Jane McKim, the many DAR, SAR and SR members of the family and the Veterans who served our country.
